Our goal is to provide a showcase for those classic scores which have slipped through the cracks of the major labels, namely those rich, but esoteric favorites that have permeated our psyches with memorable themes from exceptionally gifted composers.

Each release will be highlighted by state-of-the-art remastering from the best sources available, coupled with a deluxe full-color booklet documenting information on the making of the film and its soundtrack penned by some of the industry’s finest writers and researchers. All text will be matched with ample photo documentation, much of it never-before-published.

This label is the culmination of over 30 years of soundtrack appreciation and collecting by its owner and founder, Taylor White, who christened this new venture on June 1, 1998. White’s own personal library of soundtracks on CD boasts over 3500 titles! Prior to creating PERCEPTO RECORDS, White owned and operated CREATURE FEATURES, a popular retail store in Burbank that specialized in sci-fi, horror and fantasy memorabilia.
